Q. Does ShortLine publish videos on its own?

A. No. It only sends them to TikTok as drafts. Whether to publish is decided by the user in the TikTok app.

Q. Is there a login screen?

A. No. ShortLine is a tool that runs on the user's own computer. To connect with TikTok, it uses TikTok's official login screen.

Q. What information does it read?

A. Basic account information (such as display name) and the list of published videos (video ID, title, description, post date/time, share URL). This is used only to confirm the destination and to cross-check against the sending record.

Q. Where is the information you read stored?

A. Only on the user's own computer. We do not send it to our servers, and we do not provide it to third parties.

Q. How many videos can be sent per day?

A. We follow TikTok's rules. Up to 5 drafts can be sent per account, per 24 hours, via the API.

Q. How do I disconnect?

A. You can revoke ShortLine's access from "Settings and privacy" in the TikTok app. The steps are described in the Privacy Policy.
